2016 KAMA-WKMSO summer convention

The Korean American Medical Association (KAMA) hosted its 42nd convention from August 4th to 6th, as a joint symposium with KMA, KAMS, KHA, AMA, KHIDI, and KAMHC. The convention, which took place at the HNA Palisades Premiere Conference Center in New York, featured many physicians, scientists and students of Korean heritage from Korea, US and around the world. Attendees had the opportunity to listen to lectures on topics such as emerging healthcare IT and precision medicine, and to take part in several forums discussing important issues in healthcare disparity for Korean Americans, including community outreach and global health.
