Upcoming 2017 KMA Conference

안녕하세요.

대한의사협회에서는 매 3년마다 국제 학술대회를 개최해 오고 있으며, 2017년은 제 35차 종합학술대회를 맞이하여 2017년 6월30일(금)부터 7월2일(일) 까지 서울 그랜드 힐튼 호텔에서 "미래의학과 건강수명"이라는 주제로 국제 학술대회가 열립니다.

이에 학생 세션 발표와 참가자 관리를 저희 WKMSO에서 진행하게 되었습니다.

본 학술대회에서는 학술 프로그램, 대국민 홍보 프로그램, 세계한인의대생연합을 포함한 의과대학생을 위한 프로그램 등 다양한 프로그램으로 국민의 건강과 미래 행복을 설계하고자 합니다. 3일 동안 다양한 프로그램과, 학술정보를 저명한 연사들께서 알차게 구성할 예정이며, 국내 학생들을 위한 프로그램 뿐 아니라, 매년 진행하였던 KAMA(재미한인의사회)-WKMSO convention 에서와 같이 미국 또는 해외에서의 공부를 꿈꾸는 학생들을 위한 선배들의 멘토링 및 USMLE, matching 의 정보 공유, 재미한인의사분들의 세션도 준비되어 있습니다.

의과대학/의학전문대학생들의 경우 사전 등록을 통해, 학생 세션에서 발표할수 있는 기회와, 모든 학술일정을 등록비 없이 참가 할수 있는 기회를 드리고 있습니다.

미래의 의료사회를 책임질 의대생 여러분의 많은 관심과, 참여 부탁드리겠습니다.

2월 3일 이후로 사전등록은 마감하였고 3월 초에 다시 정규등록을 위해 공지를 할 예정입니다. 사전등록을 하지 못하였지만 참가를 희망하시는 분들은 그때까지 조금만 기다려주세요! 그리고 사전등록을 하지 못했지만 발표자로 등록을 원하시는 분들은 wkmsoglobal@gmail.com나 페북메세지를 통하여 가능한 빨리 연락주시기 바랍니다! 늦어도 2월 22일까지 abstract를 제출해야 하기에 그 이후에 연락을 주시면 아쉽지만 발표자로 참가가 어려울 것 같습니다.

Dear Students, The Korean Medical Association(KMA) will be hosting the 2nd International Medical Expo at the Grand Hilton Seoul from June 30th(Fri.), 2017 to July 2nd(Sun.), 2017. This is a triennial event hosted alongside the 35th KMA Annual conference, and the World Korean Medical Students’ Organization(WKMSO) is proud to be the host of the student session this year.

During the three days, students will be able to attend any of the sessions being held at the expo and meet leading physicians/surgeons/researchers from all around the world. KAMA(Korean American Medical Association) will also be attending as a guest and will be giving talks on pursuing a career in the States as they have been doing at the KAMA-WKMSO convention in the previous years.

Through WKMSO, medical students from all around the world will be able to attend the 2nd International Medical Expo free of charge and apply for an oral presentation at the student session. This will be a great chance to share findings of your academic research, clinical experience, and your thoughts on the healthcare system/medical education.

The early registration period has ended but we will be coming back soon in early March for regular registrations!

During the regular registrations however, we will only be accepting attendees not speakers. If anyone is interested in participating as a speaker who has not registered during the early registration period, please email wkmsoglobal@gmail.com / or fb message us ASAP. We need to submit abstracts by the 22nd of February, so we will not be accepting any more speakers after that deadline.
